LGWU Policies
- A $5.00 Late Fee will be added each month there is a past due/open balance.
- A Shut Off Notice will be sent to any account that has 2 unpaid billing cycles.
- If an account is Shut Off, a $50 shut off fee will be added to the account and the account will continue to accrue the quarterly Base Meter Charge. A Lien will also be filed on the property and the filing fees will be added to your account.
- To turn account back on, ALL past due fees, Shut Off fees and additional Turn On fee of $50 will need to be paid before services will be restored.
Rule 25-30.320 of the Florida Administrative Code states: Bills are due and payable when rendered. If a customer is delinquent in paying the bill for water services, services may then be discontinued.
